Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 11, 2025

Your privacy matters. This policy explains exactly what data we collect and why.

1. Information We Collect

DeskCraft collects minimal information. Here's what we may process:

  • Wishlist items — stored locally in your browser (localStorage), never sent to any server
  • Theme preference — your dark/light mode choice, stored locally

2. How We Use Your Information

Since we don't collect personal data, your information stays on your device. The only external interaction is when you click an affiliate link, which takes you to Amazon.in — governed by Amazon's own privacy policy.

3. Affiliate Links

DeskCraft contains affiliate links to products on Amazon.in. When you click these links and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

We do not track or store your clicks on our servers. Any purchase tracking is handled entirely by Amazon under their own privacy policy.

4. Data Storage & Security

DeskCraft is a static website. All user preferences (wishlist, theme) are stored locally in your browser using localStorage. No personal data is sent to or stored on any server.

We do not store payment information — all transactions happen on third-party platforms such as Amazon.in.

5. Third-Party Services

DeskCraft uses the following third-party services:

  • Amazon Associates — affiliate program (purchases tracked by Amazon)
  • Vercel — website hosting and edge delivery

6. Cookies & Local Storage

DeskCraft uses browser localStorage to store your theme preference (dark/light mode) and your wishlist. No data leaves your browser.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

7. Your Rights

Since all your data is stored locally in your browser, you have full control. Clear your browser's localStorage to remove all DeskCraft data.

For any privacy-related questions, please email us at jainilladhani7@gmail.com.

8. Children's Privacy

DeskCraft is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The 'Last Updated' date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
